Root Canals: Patients need a root canal, when the nerve of a tooth becomes irreversibly damaged. This can be caused by decay, trauma, or a crack in the tooth. Often nerve damage causes pain, swelling, and sensitivity to hot or cold. An irreversible damaged tooth becomes darker in color. Click Here to talk or email the doctor!
During root canal therapy, Dr. Gordon cleans out the infected pulp tissue. After all the infection has been removed, the canals are filled with a sealer. The tooth will need a crown to protect the tooth from breaking. |
